These Supplementary Terms govern your access or use of the fixed deposits (“FD”) related services facilitated through the Platform by MFL (“FD Terms”) . These FD Terms are in addition to and shall be read in conjunction with the General Terms and Privacy Policy of the Platform. In case of any conflict between these FD Terms and the General Terms, these FD Terms shall prevail to the extent of such conflict in relation to FD-related services. Words not defined herein but defined in the General Terms shall have the meaning assigned to them under the General Terms.

You are advised to read these FD Terms carefully. By accessing the Platform for the purpose of availing FDs, you expressly give us consent to use and disclose your personal information in accordance with this FD Terms and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these FD Terms, please desist from using or accessing FD Services.

The Platform serves as a digital application that connects you with various financial institutions including Partners who offer FD products bearing interest rates as may be decided by the relevant Partner (“FD Services”) . The Platform operates solely as an intermediary and digital facilitator to enable access to FD products provided by our Partners. MFL functions as a referral partner or service provider or distributor to these Partners and does not itself offer the FD products to you.

1. MFL is a non-banking financial company registered with RBI. By virtue of the non-banking financial company license, MFL is not licensed to issue fixed deposits. Therefore, it must be clearly and distinctively understood that MFL is just a distributor of the FD product of FD issuance entity (Partner).
2. Any agreement, including terms and conditions, consents, privacy policy, etc. (“FD Agreement”) of FD will be between the relevant Partner and you, to the exclusion of MFL. Accordingly, MFL is not responsible or liable for performance or enforcement of any of your benefits or rights under such Agreement with the FD Partner. Any disputes arising in relation to the FD product obtained from Partner shall be solely between you and the FD issuance company alone and MFL shall not be made a party to any such dispute.

1. You confirm that you are (a) a resident of India; (b) have attained the age of 18 years.
2. By making use of the Platform, and furnishing your personal/contact details, you hereby agree that you are interested in investment in FD offered by our Partners that you have selected.
3. You hereby agree that MFL may contact you either electronically, through phone or through any other medium, to understand your interest in FD Services. You hereby explicitly provide consent to receive promotional materials and/or special offers from us through email or SMS or any other communication mode(s) as decided by MFL.
4. You may invest in FD at your sole discretion, purely on a voluntary basis and you have gone through the financial information of FD issuance company before investment, and you alone shall solely be liable for any FD investment under the FD Services.
5. For more details on risk factors, product details, terms and conditions and exclusions please read the relevant product brochure of the Partner carefully before the purchase or procurement of any FD Services.
6. All information, content, materials, and FD product included on or otherwise made available to you are provided by us on an "as is" and "as available" basis unless otherwise specified in writing. We disclaim all representations or warranties, express or implied, with respect to the operation of Platform, including without limitation, any express or implied representation or warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. If applicable law does not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, some or all the above disclaimers, exclusions, or limitations may not apply to you, and you may have additional rights. In no event will we or our directors, officers, employees, agents, or other representatives be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or any other damages of any kind, arising out of or related to the Services.
7. By opting to purchase any FD, you explicitly agree and authorize Muthoot Fincorp Limited to share your personal data with the FD issuance company for the purpose of issuance of FD and other services.
8. When you use the Platform or send emails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We may communicate with you by email, by notifications on the Platform, by phone or using any other means of communication. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that we provide to you satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
9. We reserve the right to make changes to these FD Terms, at any time, in our sole discretion and you hereby agree to ratify the same with immediate effect. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law. By continuing usage of the services as per these revised terms, you agree to be bound by such changes/revisions without any objection whatsoever.
10. You hereby declare that the first named depositor mentioned in your application is the beneficial owner of the deposit and as such he/she should be treated as the payee for the purpose of tax deduction under Section 195 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 or as per applicable law or under any other relevant section of the applicable income tax laws. You hereby agree to abide by the terms and conditions governing FD as per the FD issuance company.
11. You further declare that, you are authorized to make the deposit in the selected scheme and that the amount kept in the deposit is through legitimate source and does not involve directly or indirectly any proceeds of schedule of offence and/or is not designed for the purpose of any contravention or evasion of the provisions of, including but not limited to, the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, any Rules, Regulations, Notifications, Guidelines, Directions or applicable law thereunder, as amended from time to time.
12. You further confirm that the information/details provided by you are true and correct in all respect and nothing has been concealed.
13. You hereby submit voluntarily at your own discretion, online electronic Aadhaar xml as issued by UIDAI (Aadhaar), to MFL for the purpose of establishing your identity / address proof.
14. The consent and purpose of collecting Aadhaar has been explained to you and you are aware that your Aadhaar submitted to MFL herewith shall not be used for any purpose other than mentioned above, excluding per requirements of applicable law.
15. You hereby expressly give consent to MFL and Partner to search download, upload/share with CKYC (Central Know Your Customer) registry/ Digi locker and receive information through SMS/email on your registered mobile number/email address for the purpose of KYC compliance and communications.
